"Could it be? Back again? Snooch to tha Booch!"
-------------
He said patience is the key to, for a chance to ensue...
Yes i am back doing this again. its been a while.
typing on my laptop. new.
school done. new
new life beginning in a couple days. new (obviously)
i am happy
life is so great for me
things are going so well.
i love this cd so much.
yeah, ive said before that darkside is the best stoner album of all time...but
leitmotif is just so incredibly brilliant that it is just ingeneral the best
music ever. ever. new stuff kicks ass; will definitely out that on after this is
over
i like to smile because im happy
i speak my mind
i am confident in what i say
i really enjoy the approach
i have control
i am in control of myself at all times
i am excited to be here...to be everywhere i go
life is exciting...
this stuff is all good
im doing laundry tomorrow...this means that i can have a very long messy awesome
masturbation session tonight! :)
nothing like the feel of the vagina...outside and inside
so smooth and beautiful on the outside
so soft and moist on the inside
the best sex can be where one partner just lies there...relaxed and turned
on...not worried what the other person thinks of them...just enjoying themselves
in the fact that their partner is enjoying themself.
im gonna have some mental no touch masturbation...
.
.
.
well that was excellent. now im listening to new dredg. holy shit that shit
kicks ass
life is great. the new job will be a big change, but im ready! im ready to take
this on. I have the technical skills. I have the people skills. I am in control.
I am ready to welcome this phase of life. I welcome the change! I am enjoying
the change. I am happy with who I am...
a better way to describe this would be to say: The coming of this phase of life
was inevitable. I have prepared myself in the best possible way for this point.
Its like starting the race in the top spot. I am prepared better than I could
have imagined I would be. I have a lot of life experience.
No matter how I look at it...its good.
-----
Track 1- ode to the sun- me likes a lot
Track 2- bug eyes- me likes a lot
maybe some random thoughts are in order:
-the brains of the big brawn are brawny
- angled light shadow wavers causing dimensional space warping
-night light blinks due to oscillatory circuit within the circuitry
-two dimensional motion sensor uses x and y coordinates that need not be
parallel.
-hands closup look CaRaZy~!
-its haunting yu (you) (yew) (u)
Track 3- catch without arms- good very good, beautiful chorus
cool little guitar parts
happy
CWA (the album)- is so much more happy toned than either leitmotif or el cielo
beautiful...so beautiful
the song has a nice bridge/interlude part, where the tone gets slightly darker,
but than is once again uplifted by the guitar solo. then it kicks into the
beautiful chorus with the great lead guitar line that sets the tone back to
where it was before.
piano(?) part at end adds a nice touch...a reminder of the artistic side of the
band
track 4- not that simple- i love the drum rhythm that drives the versus. a nice
happy toned back sounds are created by guitar and bass and (synthesizer)? before
the chorus actually kicks in there is a nice point where the non-drums lay back
before building up again to the...
chorus. the drums maintain almost the same beat while the tone gets very
positive and moving
my god these guys are brilliant. greatest band ever.
more artistic/wierd stuff- end of not that simple
track 5- zebra skin- wow. this track totally caught me off guard. its like dredg
meets Kid A with a hint of some trippy Incubus stuff (like battlestart
scratchalitica (sp?) or magic medicine). loungy as hell. the chorus is the most
dredg=like part of the song. the versus are the most out there. the guitar is
the biggest giveaway that this is dredg. even gavins vocals sound off, though
that may just be because the style is so different than anything theyve ever
done.
track 6- tanbark- this probably has the highest "heaviness-speedness factor"
than any stuff dredg has done since the orph days. good though.
i gotta admit that the bass presence of drew roulette seems lower on this than
it was on Leitmotif or El Cielo, though the bass is defintitely there. I may
need to listen more in car and not on laptop speakers before deciding for sure
on that.
ASIDE: Arrested Development is so fucking funny!
BACK TO DREDG:
the part of tanbark where the music pretty much stops- i always associate that
with CDoby Dick saying "i will forgive bu I wont forget"
another aside: Papa Roach- Getting away with murder is fucking great!
track 7- sang real- one of the best on the cd. the drums sound like a drum
machine when recorded, but i bet are played by actual drums live" beautiful
piano here during verse. the tune to the chorus is just beautiful. great chord
progression.
great lyrics too "from the inside-out we were born"
track 8- planting seeds- beautiful guitar/vocals combination in the verse, then
gets quicker. the chorus is very moving.
CWA is incredibly positive. if i had to pick one word to describe CWA it would
be "inspirational"
this is the kind of music to listen when focusing on positive self-talk.
"look what I have found. a seashell in a sea of shells"
the song is about making a difference. planting a seed is a simple step that
sprouts in to something so much bigger and more powerful.
